Hi Priscilla
Just sent you the photos, at last! The women are generating a decent income by providing a full catering service when the centre is rented out. As it is the only one of its kind in the area it is very popular and is used for weddings, conferences, meetings and all sorts of celebrations. The hirer then has the option to take the full package which includes the catering and table waiting. This is where the equipment you sent becomes so crucial. The women are able to make meals for up to 1500 people, and are continually learning new skills in cookery. There is more of your equipment to be installed that arrived in the last container, and pictures of that will follow once it has been assembled.
I can not stress enough how important and necessary the equipment has been to the community. The women can now earn a living, provide for their families, and have a sense of dignity and purpose. Plus the food is really delicious! Mike is going to come back to you on the email you sent, but in principal it is a wonderful and worthwhile idea.
I can also forward on the proposal for the clinic that is starting to be built any day now, that is if you did not already receive one in my letter after the dinner. Maybe you could let me know.
Without all you gave this project would not have happened.
Hope to catch up soon.
Much love
Tracy Piggott

Ashtown Catering Supplies Ltd was approached by Tracy Piggott Director of Playing for Life to give just a small amount of Crockery to help with the great Charity that she supports.
After speaking with Tracy and Fr Mike we decided that we could do more than donate Crockery. So we did a list of stock that we knew could make a Commercial Kitchen. Some of the equipment was second hand & some was new. We got all the items together including Friends who gave really nice Children’s Toys, Clothes all types for both Adults & Children.
I must say that this was a Great Project and I knew that the goods were going to be put to good use.
As you can see from the photos. Work has now started. So from a small request from Tracy. We at Ashtown Catering Supplies were able to give a little more. Just to help these people. Things that we take for granted in life can save their lives.
So maybe if you have something in your business that you would like to donate to Tracy Piggott’s charity. Please feel free to contact me and I would only be too delighted to refer you on to this great charity or if you have an item and you would like to donate we can take it at our premises.
I would like to take this opportunity in thanking all my Family & Friends and especially my daughter Ainie who got her school Scoil Mhuire, Mount Sackville who had a coffee morning and raised €2500.00 for “Playing for Life”.
We hope that 2010 will allow my husband John, Ainie and I to travel to Malawai to work with the charity.
